Basic Income Conversation

We're bringing together Black and Global Majority creatives and cultural professionals for an online conversation about what a basic income could mean for artists in Scotland. It's part of Creative Balance, our work exploring wellbeing and support for racialised people across the creative sector.

Our summer events continue with this session

When: Monday 20 July, 6.30pm to 8pm Where: Online via Zoom What will it be: An open conversation to explore the challenges artists in Scotland face, look at how a basic income for artists has worked elsewhere, including the pilot in Ireland, and think about what steps we might take to make the case for one here.

If you'd like to read a little before the session, Basic Income Network Scotland has a helpful collection of reports and briefings here: https://cbin.scot/resources/

Register below and we'll send the Zoom link straight to your inbox. We'd love to see you there.
